Established with the vision of creating sustainable livelihood opportunities, the centre equips individuals with practical, industry-relevant skills that open pathways to employment, self-employment, and entrepreneurship.

Driven by the vision of Anugula Rakesh Reddy, the initiative was founded on the belief that meaningful social transformation begins by empowering people with knowledge, confidence, and practical skills. By making vocational education accessible at no cost, Shikara Skill Center continues to create opportunities for individuals to build independent and successful futures.

Tailoring

Comprehensive training in garment construction, stitching techniques, and apparel design, enabling participants to pursue employment or establish their own tailoring businesses.

Beautician

Professional training covering beauty care, grooming, skincare, hair care, and salon practices, preparing trainees for careers in the beauty and wellness industry.

Embroidery (Maggam Work)

Specialised instruction in traditional Maggam embroidery techniques, helping participants preserve artisanal skills while creating sustainable livelihood opportunities.
